Sir,
Though the Railway Minister announced a number of steps for improving railway network in the State, he has however remained silent on introducing a Jammu-Chandigarh train. This has disappointed the people of the State as Chandigarh being an important place for people of the State from education, business and health angles. Most of times peoplewho do not get proper treatment proceed to PGI Chandigarh for treatment. In absence of train service, patients have to undergo a lot of ordeal. One fails to understand what prevented the Raulway Minister from introducing this service when various leaders had taken up the matter with him.
The people are however happy that four new trains will be run on Jammu tracks. This will ease pressure on trains and commuters will enjoy a happy travel.
