JAMMU, Feb 26: General Railway Police (GRP) organised an awareness camp regarding identification of fake currency in GRP Lines.
On the occasion, Nisar Ahmed, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Railway, Security was the chief guest, whereas Shiv Kumar Sharma, SP Railways, Benam Tosh, SO to IGP Railways, PK Mengi, DySP GRP Lines, Chander Jeet Singh, SDPO Railways and Surinder Kumar Sharma, SDPO Railways, Vijaypur were also present.
Sanjay Kakkar, Assistant Manager, Reserve Bank of India apprised the participants about how to identify the fake currency during money transactions.
The camp was also attended by representative of railway department, collies, taxi operators and officers/officials of GRP Jammu.
