JAMMU, Mar 8: BJP State president, Ravinder Raina chaired meeting of party Corporators of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here today.
Former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta, BJP State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh, JMC, Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, Dy. Mayor, Purnima Sharma, district president & corporatgor Baldev Singh Billawaria also accompanied State president during the meeting.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, asked BJP’s corporators to work on war footing for meeting public expectation. He said that they have to create a strong image of the party among the general masses. He said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken the India on path of progress. PM Modi has worked upon every sector threadbare to address all the issues of the masses, he added.
He asked the corporators to take the PM Modi’s mission forward. He said that as the leaders of BJP, they have the first and foremost task to do everything necessary for public satisfaction. He also focused upon their role in accomplishing the mission 2019 for Parliamentary elections and added that their good works will deliver fruits in the forthcoming Assembly elections as well.
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, asked all the corporators to keep constant touch with the masses. He laid importance on the issues of essential services like water, electricity, sanitation etc. He asked them to work upon the innovative ways to deal with these everyday issues.
Dr. Narinder Singh, in his address, prompted the BJP’s corporators to share their issues and concerns with the party seniors. He asked for bettering coordination among all the party functionaries, while focusing on regular meetings with the seniors to improve deliverance in public.
JMC Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, in his address, said that the major reforms are in the pipeline in the JMC. He said that JMC is working with particular vision for improving sanitation and other facilities along with the development works in the Jammu city.
Corporators also shared their views and issues with the party senior leaders. There were threadbare discussions on all the issues, for which the Mayor and the Dy. Mayor also assured them of all help.
