JAMMU, Jan 24: J C Raina, Agronomist Vegetable Improvement Scheme Jammu, has been recognized as Certified Farm Advisor Vegetables by National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad and ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi on completion of all the three modules of the programme.
The certificate has been awarded by Director Agriculture Jammu, Inderjeet in presence of senior officers of the Department at Krishi Bhawan, Jammu.
Pertinently Mr Raina has worked on the project titled “Demonstration of IPM Technologies for Management of Brinjal Shoot and Fruit Borer (BSFB) in Jammu under the guidance of Dr Shubhadeep Roy, Scientist, ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi. His services as Certified Farm Advisor may be useful in academic, training of extension functionaries and farmers and extension activities related to vegetables.
