JAMMU, June 16: Terming the decision on SRO 202 a big leap towards employees welfare, BJP J&K spokesperson and former MLC, Girdhari Lal Raina today said this has given a lot of relief to youth of Jammu and Kashmir as no fresh appointments under the SRO will be made now. The probation period of employees already appointed under this provision has been reduced to two years, which indicates that Narendra Modi led Government is committed to welfare of people, Raina said while talking to reporters here, today along with senior party leader and Prabhari Kashmir BJP, Chand Ji Bhat .
He complimented PM for best management in tackling dreaded COVID Pandemic which was exported from abroad and this Government can’t be blamed for it.
But the Prime Minister led the fight from front bringing entire country together to protect 1.37 billion Indians by making them aware, announcing lockdown, preparing health infrastructure, provided relief to deprived sections of society and announced a stimulus package that provides relief along with incentives to revive economy.
He also highlighted number of unprecedented welfare programmes from Ujjwala, to Jandhan to Swach Bharat Mission to Beti Bachao Beti Padao Jandhan, Aadhar Mobile (JAM) built on Digital India Movement so on.
He said the Modi Government took unprecedented steps to correct “Historic Wrongs” and thereby laying a firm foundation for ‘Atam Nirbhar’ or a self-reliant India. In this regard he highlighted revocation of Article 370 and 35-A, banning of Triple Talaq among Muslims, Supreme Court verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi. Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), 2019, etc.
He said on the foreign policy front, experts appreciated that Government has done a decent job. In Jammu and Kashmir, 1030924 beneficiaries received Kissan Samman Nidhi and Social Welfare schemes helped lakhs of beneficiaries.
The UT got two AIIMS; CAT bench was established; IIT and IIM, six Medical Colleges were opened, MBBS Seats Increased, work on Ring Roads was started, International Stadium ; Modern Bus Stand; Metro, WP refugees given citizenship rights, World Highest Bridge At Kodhi Reasi, PoJK Refugee Package ; Reservation for Citizens along IB, Vaishno devi & PeerKho Rope Way Project, Maharaja Hari Singh Park, Jammu Akhnoor 4 Lane National Highway, Additional 275 Bed Block in SMGS Hospital, Biotech Park and Seed Processing Plant for Kathua, 1.5 km long Kerian Gandyal bridge over river Ravi to link secluded Kathua villages with rest of J&K, Chattergla tunnel and Delhi ,Amritsar, Katra Corridor, Devika Rejuvenation Project, Udhampur Radio Station, bridge over river Chenab in Pargwal area and many more projects brought for J&K during Modi rule, he added.
