JAMMU, Oct 30: In a remarkable literary feat, Maayra, a talented young writer of only 17 years, launched her debut novel, Everything is not what it seems, today at Country Inn, Gandhi Nagar.
The book was unveiled by Ravinder Raina, State BJP president, J&K who was the chief guest on the occasion in presence of distinguished guests, family, and friends.
Ravinder Raina praised Maayra for her exceptional writing skills, saying, “It’s astounding to see such maturity and creativity in someone so young. Maayra has set a shining example for her peers.”
What’s more remarkable is that Maayra, is a daughter of a Deputy Inspector General ranked officer of CAPF, has four more novels in the pipeline, showcasing her prolific talent. Raina encouraged her to continue writing, stating, “Your work will inspire the young generation of our State and beyond. Keep weaving your literary magic.”
With her father’s distinguished career in the Central Armed Police Forces, Maayra has been fortunate enough to traverse the length and breadth of India, absorbing the diversity and richness of our great nation, which now finds expression in her writing.
Everything is not what it seems is a crime murder mystery novel that unravels the threads of deception, betrayal and murder. The book has already generated significant interest among readers and critics alike.
