JAMMU, June 3: Ravinder Raina president BJP Jammu Kashmir along with former Minister and State general secretary BJP Sunil Sharma today flagged off Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra for different districts . They were accompanied by BJYM president Jammu Kashmir, Arun Prabhat, national media in charge, Amandeep Singh and State secretary, BJP Ajay Pargal.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Raina said that last eight years of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s regime has paved way for colossal development and the country has earned name and fame across the world with leading countries coming forward to have resounding business ties by offering investments of hundreds of crores of rupees.
He said that BJP Government had enabled India to progress by leaps and bounds by involving youths to become bedrock for the development journey of the country.
Sunil Sharma said that India witnessed unmatched progress under PM Modi and still the country is treading towards unprecedented development with full force especially the J&K which remained a victim of dynastic politics and indifference of successive governments in the last over 70 years.
Later, Seh Prabhari, BJP Ashish Sood, former Minister and State vice president, BJP Sham Lal Sharma, All Morcha Prabhari Munish Sharma, district president, Akhnoor Jagdish Bhagat welcomed the Yatra during a Swagat Samaroh at Akhnoor Fort.
Ashish Sood spoke about the unprecedented development which was carried out in the past eight years under Modi regime. He said that the track record of BJP Government is so promising that people’s aspirations have touched the level next as they want everything from the Government with no compromise on any issue.
Sham Lal Sharma gave a brief account of heritage sites of Akhnoor including local fort and Jia Pota Ghat besides Ambaran, he further said.
Interestingly the Jia Pota Ghat got its name from the Jia Pota tree under whose shade the Raj Tilak ceremony of Maharaja Gulab Singh took place.
Later, the delegates visited Jia Pota Ghat and Ambran, world’s seventh Buddhist monastery.
Speaking about the Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra, Arun Prabhat said that the team of BJYM is on a pan-India Yatra and it is going to spend four days in the J&K to have firsthand knowledge about the region.
Later in Jammu, heritage walk was conducted across the Jammu city in which the delegates visited Hari Palace, Raghunath Ji temple and Mahakali Temple at Bahu Fort.
They also had the local Dogra cuisines which they cherished by showering praises and seeking the recipes of the mouth watering delicacies.
Later a formal interaction with the visiting delegation was held at the residence of Dr Nirmal Singh in which the former Deputy CM briefed about the rich heritage and culture of J&K and apprised the changes witnessed in J&K during the BJP Government.
