Raj Babbar seeks vote for Vikram Malhotra

JAMMU, Dec 6: Congress stalwart leader and cine star, Raj Babbar, today urged people to vote for party’s candidate from Jammu East Assembly segment, Vikram Malhotra.
He was campaigning for Malhotra in the localities of Peer-Kho and Residency Road in Jammu East. The Pradesh Congress general secretary and the candidate accompanied the star. Babbar delivered his speech in Punjabi and also attempted to speak a couple of sentences in Dogri.
While addressing the people, the star campaigner said that people should think judiciously and rationally and vote for leaders like Vikram Malhotra who are dedicated towards working for the welfare of the people as well as are honest.
He said Congress is the only party that can take on BJP and defeat its communal politics. “People should vote for Congress and by doing so they will be strengthening the India’s unity, brotherhood and justice”.
In his address, Malhotra said that he was determined to bring in holistic development in the constituency, which has not seen any growth since long.
“We have not seen any elected representative of this assembly segment in the past either carrying out some development work or even raising problems of the people of Jammu east in the legislative assembly,” Vikram said adding that he will serve as voice of the people of Jammu east in the House, if he gets elected.
He further said that unemployment among the youth also falls in his priority list and he will ensure that a policy gets implemented that will assist to provide the local youth with employment opportunities.
He also informed the gathering about the development works carried out by him in the constituency.
