JAMMU, Sept 27: Chief Engineer, PMGSY (JKRRDA), Jammu, Rajan Mengi has been nominated as representative to the Council of Indian Road Congress.
Official sources said that the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has accorded sanction to the nomination of Chief Engineer PMGSY, Rajan Mengi as the representative of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir in the Council of Indian Road Congress for the financial year 2023-24 or till further orders.
He will suggest on methods regarding planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of roads, besides suggesting on revision of standards and specifications and updating manuals for all categories of roads. Mengi will further suggest and facilitate the trainings of technical and engineering staff in R&B Department on various subjects relevant to the field, under the supervision of IRC.
