Rajasthan Gujjars extend support to BGM

JAMMU, Oct 28: Gujjar community of Rajasthan has extended its full support to the Bharatiya Gujjar Mahasabha (BGM) of J&K in its ongoing struggle for political reservation and other issues of community.
While speaking in a function organized in connection with Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Jayanti held at Kama, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, State president of BGM, Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal, said that J&K is an integral part of India due to Patel’s efforts.
He said that today’s youth must follow the footsteps of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and inculcate spirit of nationalism in them.
Earlier, Poswal while addressing a gathering of Gujjars drawn from different parts of Rajasthan, said that Gujjars of J&K stood besides Gujjars of Rajasthan in their struggle.
He also sought their support for Gujjars of J&K in their struggle for political reservation. He said that Gujjars of Rajasthan should impress upon the political parties to include in their manifestos, the issues concerning Gujjars of J&K.
The other speakers said that they will leave no stone unturned to ensure that J&K Gujjars get their due share.
Among others present were Gopi Chand Gujjar, Govind Rai, Palla Kanth, Sat Bharakh and Hari Singh Mahua.
