KATHUA Dec 19: Rajbagh police today thwarted a bovine smuggling bid in its area by rescuing five bovine animals which were being smuggled.
As per reports a police team led by Inspector, Amit Sangra, SHO, PS Rajbagh today succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid and rescued five bovine animals.
Acting on a tip off Police team in the wee hours established checkpoint on NHW Rajbagh and seized one Mahindra Bolero without registration number carrying five bovine animals. In this process police saved five bovine animals being smuggled in the vehicle.
Police has registered a case under 188 RPC 3/5 PC Act and started investigation in the matter.
