Addressing media persons today, a senior Punjab Police officer said Dogra was involved in the murder of Sanjay Gupta in the year 2006 in Jammu and to avenge the latter’s killing, several attempts had been made in the past but the rival gang headed by one Anil Singh, who now heads the Bakra gang, didn’t succeed.
In the recent attempt on March 4, 2024, while Rajesh Dogra was standing outside CP Mall in Mohali, 8 shooters pierced 15 bullets into his body, killing him on-the-spot, he said.
