JAMMU, Jan 9: To discuss the problems faced by Gujjar community and others in Nagrota area of Jammu, the senior National Conference leader Rajesh Gupta called on Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Environment and Ecology, Javed Ahmed Rana, here today.
Highlighting the plight of people due to phlegmatic attitude of the helmsmen and snarling development scenario during LG rule, Gupta apprised Javed Rana about the complete failure of BJP run proxy govt, in carrying out development works as well as addressing the problems of the people.
“The LG administration has miserably failed to implement the development schemes meant for the people of Jammu. Due to callous attitude of the officers/people sitting at the helm of affairs, the funds sanctioned for the implementation of development schemes are getting lapsed,” he said.
Minister Javed Rana gave a patient hearing to the NC leader and assured him to project the aforesaid demands before the concerned quarters for early redressal.
