JAMMU, Aug 25: MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the Sulabh Sochalya at Qasim Nagar, Ward No. 19 today. The estimated cost of the project is 15 lakhs and is projected to be completed in a record time.
Inauguration of Sulabh Sochalya forms a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is also in tune with the philosophy of “Devalya Nahi Sochalya”.
MLA Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that clean India is a project that is very close to the heart of the Prime Minister and is one of his pet project. He also said that in our scripture we find mention of the fact that “cleanliness is next to Godliness””.
MLA Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner Soujanya Sharma. Ever since MLA Rajesh Gupta has taken charge of his Constituency, there is a visible change on the ground in terms of development and beautification of the area. Many important Bazaars in the Constituency have been declared as heritage Bazaars. Lot of additional facilities have been provided by way of installation of electric transformers, water coolers, up gradations of lanes- drains and others.
