JAMMU, Oct 29: Rajesh Gupta along with his supporters joined National Conference (NC) through its president Dr Farooq Abdullah, here today.
He was welcomed by Dr Farooq Abdullah and Provincial president Rattan Lal Gupta into the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that he joined the NC because the party has the best leaders of J&K like Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah.
“My top priorities will be to bringing back Statehood to J&K and strengthen the party with my hundred percent contribution and to end the discrimination with Jammu,” he said.
“The NC is all set to strengthen its base in J&K to counter the divisive policies of ruling dispensation in the country,” he added and appealed others to join the revolution under the dynamic leadership of Dr Farooq Abdullah for bringing historical changes in J&K.
