JAMMU, Oct 19: MLA Rajesh Gupta kick started black topping of the roads at Talab Khatikan Mohalla Dalpatian in Ward No 5 today. The estimated cost of the project is rupees 10 lakhs. The black topping of the roads in the area started from the holy Karbala ground and is expected to cover the entire route of the Moharram procession in the days to come.
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by JMC Joint Commissioner Khushal Chand, senior BJP leader Karan Singh, Dalip Gupta, Girdhari Lal, Prof. Shyam, P.C. Gupta, Rajeev Bhardwaj, Chaman Lal and Sunil Sharma.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu East Constituency is like a bouquet of flowers of all colors, as we have people from all the communities living in perfect harmony and brotherhood with each other.
