Rajesh Gupta kick starts upgradation of lanes, drains

JAMMU, June 1: In keeping with his agenda of development MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta kick starts the process of the up gradation of the lanes and drains of Chowgan Slathia Ward No-1.
The estimated cost of the said up gradation work is approximately Rs 4.5 lacks.
Rajesh Gupta gave on the spot instructions to the officials of the JMC present on the occasion led by R.K.Talwar and JE M.K.Bhatt to complete the work of the up gradation of the lanes and drains of the area in a time bound manner. Chowgan Slathia is a congested but archeologically significant area and as such needs special attention so that the old buildings having cultural significance are preserved for the future generations.
Gupta, while speaking on the occasion said that equitable development of all the areas of his Constituency is his agenda and he will always be guided by the mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. He said that he will not rest till he creates an atmosphere of ease and comfort for the residents of his constituency. Traffic congestion in the area is one of the problems that is high on my agenda.
Development of Mubarak Mandi complex to preserve the remnants of Dogra architecture is very high on my agenda and I will pursue the matter of its development with all the relevant departments and agencies concerned.
While addressing the people of the area Rajesh Gupta made them aware of the various developmental policies launched by the government .Rajesh Gupta appealed to the people to take advantage of the schemes like the Jan Dhan Yojna, Atal Bima Yojna and Swachta Abhiyan launched by the government for the poor people.
