JAMMU, Mar 11: Continuing with his endeavour to reach out to people of the Constituency, senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East Segment, Rajesh Gupta today took an extensive tour of Chand Nagar locality falling under Ward No. 19 of Jammu East Constituency.
Health Officer, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr Salim Khan, CTO Officer Deepak and Darshan also accompanied the MLA during his visit to the area.
Today’s tour was conducted to assess and review the degree of improvement in the cleanliness and hygienic conditions of the area since MLA’s earlier visit to the locality, when he initiated the special sanitation drive to clear the area of litter and garbage besides initiating the cleaning of the surroundings.
Addressing a gathering of locals, Rajesh said that fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making India clean of filth and corruption is now the motive of all those who believe in the principles and policies of BJP. He said that being a staunch BJP ground level worker, it is my utmost duty to serve people to the best of my ability.
After moving around in the Ward No. 19, he felt relieved on observing that sanitation conditions have drastically improved. He appreciated JMC officials for their proactive cooperation and measures to bring in cleanliness and orderliness in the vicinity.
During the visit, locals applauded the keenness and sincerity of Rajesh Gupta in mitigating the problems of the people.
Prominent among those who accompanied Rajesh included Bittu, Rajkumar, Gurcharan Singh, Gopal, Chaman Lal, Vinay, Amit, Kanav, Manav and Anju Dogra.
