Rajesh Sharma to head Bharat Petroleum in J&K

JAMMU Dec 4: Son of the soil and an experienced executive of BPCL, Rajesh Sharma has taken over the command of the company in Jammu and Kashmir after having served as the coordinator for J&K and Punjab part for about a year and half.
Rajesh Sharma,   during his earlier tenure of posting in Jammu, had brought name and fame to BPCL when the Retail network of the company expanded to more than double. Setting up of the Police Parivar Retail outlets in association with JK Police in Jammu region was his innovative contribution towards the martyrs of J&K Police. A person with a noble gesture and high morale, he has now taken over the second innings by heading the corporation in J&K as Territory Manager (Retail).
Having joined the corporation in 1994 in BPCL Refinery, Rajesh Sharma has served at Mumbai, Gwalior, Delhi, Punjab and Jammu in his earlier tenures under various functions of the corporation. His experience of over 20 years in various functions of Operation, Engineering, Sales etc had brought laurels in all the capacities he performed.
His major achievements in the carrier include;  winning of an award in 2000 by the then Minister of Petroleum  Ram Naik for introducing environment friendly bottom loading tank lorries in Delhi,  winning first ever live fire fighting competition by leading his team at Sanganer, Jaipur in 1999, getting Leadership In Action Performance  Award of the corporation for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012 during his posting at Punjab, an appreciation  from the BPCL  Chairman  for effectively handling Kashmir floods in 2014, etc.
During his maiden interaction with the staff and dealers of BPCL, he detailed his priorities to further achieve milestones towards customer excellence and BPCL’s automation at Retail Outlets reaching customer’s doorsteps.
