Rajeshwar Raju’s new collection on Dogra litterateurs released

JAMMU, July 14: Rajeshwar Singh Raju, an Eminent English, Hindi and Dogri writer Rajeshwar Singh Raju’ s new collection of write ups entitled ‘Of ART And ARTISTS’ ‘published by Notion Publishers, was today released simultaneously on Amazon, Flipkart and Notion Press.
“Of ART And ARTISTS” is basically a collection of articles dedicated to those artists and literary personalities of Duggar region of UT of Jammu & Kashmir who have played a pivotal role in exploring all possibilities to boost regional art, culture and language. They are assets of any society and have a realization that if they do not work for preserving their roots who else will take care. In fact cultural heritage is our identity. If the culture is lost then there is an identity crisis and it forms the focal point of contents therein in the book. The book also carries articles on different forms of art. The articles will inspire all art lovers and art promoters to come ahead to work collectively for own art, culture & language.
The 160 page book’s title is quite attractive and symbolic. It carries 27 articles dedicated to veterans of field like Ved Rahi, Dinu Bhai Pant, N D Jamwal, Balwant Thakur, Lalit Magotra, Satish Vimal, Darshan Darshi, Mohan Singh, Prakash Premi, Didar Singh, Brij Mohan, Veena Gupta, Chhatrapal, Baljit Singh Raina, Madan Gopal Padha, Ganesh Sharma, Tara Smailpuri, Jitendra Singh, and other stories on different forms of art and language. The book is priced at Rs 300 per copy.
It is pertinent to add here that Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ has been writing in Hindi, Dogri and English languages since long. He has ten books to his credit that include five short stories collection in his mother tongue Dogri. He has been contributing as an art critic in leading newspapers and magazines.
