Rajinder Bazar residents frame body

JAMMU, Dec 14: In a meeting here today the residents of Rajinder Bazar area decided to frame their body with name Rajinder Bazar Locality Residents’ Welfare Society (RBLRWS).
The meeting was chaired by Deepak Sharma, a senior resident of the area and an ad-hoc body was announced which unanimously elected Deepak Sharma as president of RBLRWS while Sanjeev Kumar was made general secretary.
Sanjeev Grover and Madan Gopal ‘Tony’ were appointed as patrons/advisory members of the Society. An executive committee was also announced on this occasion.
Participants in the meeting raised concern over various issues being faced by the residents of the area including encroachment of footpaths and passages by shopkeepers, lack of proper sanitation and cleanliness in the area, haphazard parking of goods carriers and traffic authorities issuing Challans to the residents for bringing their vehicles to the locality and temporarily halting them, particularly in morning hours.
Other residents present in the meeting were Gurdeep Singh, Ashwini Rohmetra, Sameer, Tarun Kesar, Sahil Mahajan, Amit Khajuria and Raghav Gupta.
