JAMMU, Dec 15: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Rajni Bala of Ward 60 here today laid foundation for a Community Hall at Paloura Panchayat Ghar.
Hari Singh Chib, president District Congress Committee Jammu Rural; senior Congress leader, Som Nath Sharma, Virender Mehta, Tarun Vaid, Kamal Singh, Gulshan Kumar, Sat Chib, Ramesh Chander and others were also present on the occasion.
The Community Hall is estimated to be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 55 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Hari Singh said, this was the long pending demand of the people of the area that has finally seen light of the day.
He said that once the Community Hall gets completed it will benefit not only the people of this Ward but also the people living in vicinity of Paloura for organizing a variety of functions.
In her address Rajni Bala said being people’s representative it is her duty to ensure that projects facilitating the life of the people of the Ward are executed whenever needed.
She assured to leave no stone unturned in transforming her Ward into a model one.
