Rajni Patil meets Cong delegations, urges cadre to gear up for challenges

SRINAGAR, July 18: All India Congress Committee (AICC) Incharge for Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh organizational affairs Rajni Patil today interacted with the party leaders, District President and others at Srinagar party office and devised a roadmap with regard to Congress activities in coming days across Kashmir.
Rajni Patil and JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir interacted with dozens of party delegations from across Kashmir and received feedback with regard to current situation, besides socio political scenario obtaining in Kashmir.
During the interaction, AICC Incharge also received feedback with regard to organizational affairs and activities at grass root level in the districts across Kashmir and laid emphasizes over reaching out to people with the programmes and policies of the party.
Patil also emphasized cadres to gear up for the challenges, besides remaining committed to the cause of strengthening the Party at grass roots level.
“Every Congress leader and worker should feel duty bound to give united fight against the wrong policies of the Govt, which is the source behind disappointment amongst the people not only in Jammu and Kashmir, but in the entire country,” she said and urged the cadres to continue to protest against the unprecedented price hike in petrol, diesel and other essentials.
“Despite hue and cry against the inflation, the Centre Govt is not bothered about the economic crisis confronting people rather the prices are touching new heights every day, which is a matter of grave concern,” Patil added
AICC Incharge met series of delegation from all the districts which included delegation from Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Budgam, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kupwara and Baramulla, besides delegations of frontal organizations, departments and cells of JKPCC.
On this occasion, Ghulam Ahmad Mir asked the party cadres to strengthen the hands of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, for the fact, Congress party under their leadership was committed to vigorously fight for safeguarding interests of the people.

On this occasion various Councilors from Uri and Pulwama joined Congress party.
