Rajouri Day celebration begins

* Sangharsh releases vision document

RAJOURI, Apr 7: A Civic Movement for Justice, Equality, Peace, Prosperity and Brotherhood, began its weeklong celebration of “Rajouri Day” by releasing a vision documents on Peer Panchal region at Press Club here today.
The document was released by KK Langer, eminent social activist and Academician of Rajouri district, Prof Iqbal Raina, Chairperson Art and Literary Society Govt Post Graduate College, Rajouri and Prof Haqeeqat Singh Isher, former Principal Govt Post Graduate College, Rajouri. The vision document of Sangarsh carries the detailed information related to Peer Panchal region as well as the history of ‘Rajouri Day’. Besides this, it also covers the past activities carried out by Sangharsh vis-a-vis giving a glimpse of the future action plan of the movement.
Releasing the document Mr Langer opined out that this vision document will be helpful for the students and general public to know about the glorious past of Peer Panchal region. Further, congratulating the organizers, hoped that the movement will continue to work in near future too, for restoring peace and harmony among all sections of the society.
Prof Iqbal Raina said that the people of Rajouri fought with full bravery against the Pakistan sponsored outfits which has resulted in acceding this region to be the integral part of Indian nation and now the activists of Sanghrash are providing a chance to revisit and remember the past and to stand united against any kind of divisive forces which are harmful for the integrity of our nation.
Prof Haqeeqat Singh Isher said that from the last four years Sanghrash has took an initiative to apprise the young minds and has channelized their energy for the emancipation of native land. Vision documents of Sangharsh exhibits their intentions for the upliftment of their motherland.
Vikrant Sharma, the main resource person and coordinator of the event claimed that the Rajouri Day special newsletter contains the brief introduction of every aspect regarding Rajouri which can be beneficial for every citizen particularly the young aspiring youth who is preparing for different entrances and interviews.
Shokat Ali (advocate), vice president Sanghrash briefed regarding the different programmes which are scheduled to be organized during week long celebrations.
