Rajouri DC reviews implementation of Self-Employment Generation schemes

RAJOURI, Nov 24: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today conducted a comprehensive review of the progress made in implementation of self-employment generation schemes in the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of the existing employment schemes being implemented by different departments in the district including DIC, NRLM, Employment, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, handloom and handicrafts, Fisheries, Horticulture and others.
He directed the officers to proactively identify and support beneficiaries under the self-employment generation schemes. He emphasized that these schemes play a crucial role in enabling individuals to become self-reliant and contribute significantly to the district’s development.
Stressing the importance of diligent monitoring and evaluation to ensure the success of these programs, he directed the officers to establish robust mechanisms for tracking progress, promptly addressing any challenges that may arise, and fostering collaboration with other departments and stakeholders for optimal outcomes.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the unwavering commitment of the administration to promoting self-employment opportunities and empowering the local populace. He encouraged beneficiaries to seize the available resources and fully leverage the schemes to enhance their livelihoods and contribute to the overall progress of the district.
