Rajouri delegation calls on CS, projects local issues

JAMMU, Jan 7: A delegation led by senior BJP leader and former bureaucrat, Subhash Sharma from Rajouri constituency and State Working Committee member of BJP Dev Raj Sharma (From Budhal Constituency), comprising of BJYM leader Amit Sharma (Adv) and border belt activist Rajinder Sharma today called on Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo at Civil Secretariat Jammu.
The delegation while complimenting son of the soil (Atal Dulloo) on assuming charge as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, highlighted some burning issues of the area and hoped that the new Chief Secretary will address them on priority.
Subhash Sharma (retired AADC), who is also Convenor of BJP Refugee Cell and Prabhari of Budhal Assembly Constituency raised concerns of people of Rajouri Assembly Constituency, especially condition of roads, water and power sector. He thanked Government of India for granting political reservation to PoJK refugees.
Dev Raj Sharma, Convenor Budhal Assembly Constituency, who has fought elections for J&K Legislative Assembly three times on BJP mandate, raised various concerns of the far- flung area of Budhal. He laid emphasis on the construction of various new road projects in the area which will open new avenues for the people and give connectivity to the untouched and hardest terrain.
He also submitted a charter of demands mentioning construction of building of Degree College Koteranka, opening of new Degree College at Khawas, outdoor sports stadium at Koteranka, development of adventure tourism in Koteranka and Budhal, Tehsil status to Budhal and many others. He also raised major security concerns of Rajouri district, especially the far-flung Khawas and Budhal belt.
