RAJOURI, Jan 6: A police team of district Rajouri nabbed an absconder from the outskirts of Jammu city, who was wanted in a case but was evading his arrest since 2015.
He has been identified as Sunil Kumar, son of Munshi Ram, resident of Malikpura, Tehsil- RS Pura, in district Jammu. The Police team from Nowshera led by SHO Nowshera zeroed in on the accused absconder in outskirts of Jammu city on the basis of a human intelligence and nabbed.
The accused was evading his arrest since long in case FIR No.129/2013 U/S 279/337/338 RPC of Police Station Nowshera and a general warrant U/S 299 CrPC was issued against him by the Court of JMIC Nowshera. After apprehension, the accused person shall be produced in the court of Law, the police said.
