JAMMU, Nov 20: Narayan Singh, president Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha J&K, visited Rajouri, Bakori and Thanamandi areas where he interacted with Rajput Biradari members, including Muslim Rajputs and assured to sort out issues presently confronting the community.
Large number of Biradari members attended the meeting and interacted with the president. The Biradari members demanded regular visits of the president so that they could apprise the Sabha about the problems being faced by the Rajput community from time to time.
The Biradari members demanded construction of the Sabha Bhawans at Rajouri, declaration of Gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, eradication of social evils within the Biradari, special recruitments of educated Rajput youths in Army and Belt Forces, etc.
Narayan Singh assured the Biradari members that for the construction of Sabha Bhawans, the land be identified so that steps to construct the Bhawans could be initiated. “As regards social evils, the Biradari should minimize the expenses on social functions while the issue of special recruitment drive and declaration of Gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh are being taken up at appropriate forum,” he added.
Narayan Singh stressed that a coordinated committee of Rajputs and Muslim Rajputs be framed and all the issues be sorted out jointly. “This has been our tradition and we should maintain it at all cast. The Unity among Muslim Rajputs and Rajputs is essence of time to maintain friendship and communal harmony. By maintaining unity, both the Rajput communities could be benefitted politically as most of our problems are the same,” the president said further advised all the Biradari members to take care of their children, provide good education so that the children could face the competition.
He also advised the Rajput youth to shun bad habits, drugs and become true Rajput.
Pawan Chib, president (Youth Wing) of Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha accompanied the Narayan Singh and also addressed the meetings.
Jagdish Singh, District president, Vakil Singh, Vikram Singh of Sunderbani, Baisakhi Ram, Karan Thakur, Ajub Manhas, Balwant Singh, Javaid Iqbal, Sobhya Singh, Raj Singh and others attended the meetings.
