JAMMU, June 18: Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Jammu today held a programme at the Rajput Sabha Purani Mandi, in which scholarship was disbursed to needy students of the community.
Scholarship, amounting Rs120000 was distributed among 25 Rajput students belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in Jammu district, who have recently passed 10th ,12th and higher classes exams.
On the occasion, Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Jammu also felicitated youth from Rajput community for their achievements in the field of studies, sports and social activities.
Jagdish Singh Sangwal, Vice President of Shree Amar Kshatriye Rajput Sabha J&K, who was chief guest on the occasion, motivated youth to inculcate leadership and entrepreneurship qualities and contribute for the development of nation.
Among the other dignitaries present on the occasion, included Mangleshwar Singh (General secretary), Sukhdev Singh (Youth Urban President), Baldev Singh Bandral, Aditya, Sahil Slathia, Satveer Singh and others.
