Rajput Sabha educates Biradri women against social evils

JAMMU, July 31: Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha organized a programme at its head office, here today, to educate women folk about the social evils and seek a united fight against the same.
A large number of women from whole Jammu province participated in the programme and several of them expressed their views as well as suggestions for an effective fight against the prevailing social evils.
The women speakers stressed that the society should get rid of dowry system as poor families of the Biradri could not afford the expenses of luxurious items. They also spoke on 50 percent reservation in Panchayats and Assemblies for ensuring that the women may get their due share according to their population.
On the occasion, president of the Sabha, Kr Narayan Singh, Rtd Judge Pavitar Singh and Pawan Chib, felicitated mother of martyr Udhyman Singh, wife of martyr Daler Singh and meritorious students of the Rajput Biradri.
Kr Narayan Singh assured that the Rajput Sabha would leave no stone unturned to root out prevailing evils from the Biradri and he also sought cooperation of all in this regard.
