Rajput Sabha holds meet at Bishnah

JAMMU, Aug 8: Rajput Sabha in a meeting  held at Bishnah discussed the discrimination being meted out to educated Rajput youths in the Recruitment Boards of the State Government as also recruitment in Indian Army.
The meeting was organized by Capt Balwan Singh while president of Amar Kshtriya Rajput Sabha Kr Narayan Singh was the chief guest. After detailed deliberations the Biradari unanimously demanded that a statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh, the founder of J&K State, be installed at Kunjwani Chowk, the site for which stands already identified by the then Chief Minister.
Biradari president appealed youths to avoid drugs, shun bad habit, become true Rajput and work for the welfare of the family and the Biradari as a whole.
Capt Kartar Singh, Ghan Shyam Singh, Ajmer Singh, Satpal Singh, Balkar Singh, Pavitar Singh, Kabla Singh, Bishan Singh and Ajit Singh, Padamdev Singh spoke on the occasion. Surjit Singh conducted the proceedings of Sabha.
