JAMMU, July 21: In order to discuss the prevailing situation in Kashmir valley and problems faced by the yatris on account of present unrest in Kashmir as well as prevailing political situation in State, BJP national general secretary (Org) Ram Lal is visiting here tomorrow for a day’s tour.
Lal, who will reach here in the morning, will have a hectic schedule for the day. Soon after his arrival, BJP leader will have a meeting with party office bearers with whom he will discuss the prevailing situation in the State as well s role of the Party in defusing the crisis and also seek the feed back from the Party leaders in this regard, party sources said.
He will review the functioning of Ministers as well as legislators during the meeting and seek a feed back from the party leadership about the same too, sources said. This will be followed by another meeting of Lal with party Ministers, MLAs and MLCs. The BJP national general secretary will review the performance and functioning of the Ministers during the meeting, sources added.
Sources said the problems being faced by the Amarnath yatris due to prevailing unrest in Valley resulting in suspension of yatra on several occasions will also be discussed.
Later, the BJP leader will also hold a meeting with party general secretaries in the evening before his departure to Delhi. The BJP State president, Sat Sharma, who is in Srinagar to participate in all parties meeting today and party general secretary (Org) who is also in Summer Capital in connection with some organizational assignment, will reach Jammu early tomorrow to participate in the meeting here.
