JAMMU: BJP national general secretary and in-charge J&K Affairs, Ram Madhav today called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhawan here this evening.
Mr Madhav was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh. “Mr Madhav this evening arrived here and went to the Raj Bhawan along with Dr Singh to meet the Governor”, party sources here said.
They said that in their around 30 minutes long meeting, Mr Madhav had a detailed discussion with the Governor about the prevailing political scenario of the State.
Sources said that the BJP leader also discussed about party’s relations with its coalition partner Peoples Democratic Party in the meeting.
“The BJP leader will be leaving for the national capital tomorrow after a night halt here. He will also had deliberations with the Deputy Chief Minister and senior leadership in view of appointment of new State president”, sources added. (AGENCIES)
