JAMMU, Feb 12: A free health check up camp and book stall, organised by the Ramakrishna Mission, was held here today.
The health camp provided free medical services, including consultations with Ophthalmologist, Allopathy and Ayurvedic Physicians, Dental Surgeons, Free Sugar Tests and BP Check-up.
A total 150 of patients benefited from the expertise of a team of doctors.
On this occasion Ramakrishna Mission also displayed bookstall featuring the inspiring books on Shri Ramakrishna Paramhans, Swami Vivekananda and Indian Culture, which was visited by many devotees.
Ramakrishna Mission has been actively involved in promoting education, healthcare and cultural activities in the region.
This event was part of the Mission’s ongoing efforts to inspire the youth and promote patriotism and social service.
Among others who were present during the event included Swami Vijayeshananda, Brahmachari Dron, Hardutt Sharma, Arvind Sharma, Ravinder Kaul, Bal Krishna Raina, Dr Shakti Kumar, Dr Shekhar Sharma, Dr Tanu Gandotra, Dr Isha Sharma, Dr Nidhi Rajput, Kajal Parihar, Shivali Pagotra, Shakti Devi, Sonia Devi, Omkar Pandita, Abhimanyu Verma and Piyush.
