Ramakrishna Mission organizes free medical camp

JAMMU, Dec 24: The Medical unit of Ramakrishna Mission, Udheywala today organized a free medical camp on Neurology.
The camp was featured by Dr Sushil Razdhan, a renowned neurologist, assisted by a team of doctors from Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gynaecology, Dental, ENT, Ophthalmology, besides Allopathy Physcians, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, who examined nearly 402 patients.
Free check up facilty, blood sugar, Hba1c and blood pressure were available. Besides, 65 parameters including CBC, LFT, KFT, Lipid Profile, BSF, urine tests and Thyroid function test (T3, T4, TSH) were also undertaken. Some free medicines were also distributed to needy patients.
Sanjiv Verma, Commissioner Secretary GAD, was the chief guest on the camp, which was a part of Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre’s ongoing commitment to serving to community and providing accessible healthcare to all.
The chief guest shared his views with Swami Yajnadharananda, secretary Ramakrishna Mission Jammu, Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain, Sandeep Seointra Additional FC, Dr Shreyansh Jain (social activist), Ashok Gupta vice president (Vichar Kranti Manch International), Yash Pal Sharma (a trained Yoga trainer),  Monika Khajuria (experienced Netrasist) and Mohinder Rana (president, Padar Welfare Front S/D Attoli) about introducing religious sermons, yoga and meditation sessions for the patients, which will prove very useful in treating the patients.
Dr Shreyansh Jain offered his services to hold periodical session on yoga while Yash Pal offered for a monthly session on skill development.
