Top religious heads, CJ J&K to attend

JAMMU, May 4: Sri Ramakrishna’s New Vigraha (Status) consecration ceremony is being held at Ramakrishna Mission, Srinagar from May 9 to 11 and is expected to be attended by large number of people from across the country.
“Sri Ramakrishna’s new marble Vigraha (Statue) consecration ceremony will take place on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on May 10 (Friday) by Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, president Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishana Mission, Belur Math,” as per a document released by the Mission.
Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh High Court Justice N Kotiswar Singh will deliver speech on Swami Vivekananda’s Vision for released at 4.20 PM on May 10.
On May 9, Vedic invocation will take place by monks of the Ramakrishna Order followed by Bhajans by Monidipa Ghosh (PhD Scholar, Department of Philosophy, University of Delhi and Sangeet Prabhakar in Hindustani Vocal.
The day will also see Ramacharit Manas recitation by Swami Sukhananda Ji (Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Bhuj), Bhajans by Swami Kalyaneshananda (Ramakrishna Math, Kamarpukur), Sandhya Aarti and Bhajans at the temple followed by Prasad.
Jagat Jyoti Banerjee from Kolkata, West Bengal will perform Odissi dance. On May 10, procession will be taken out from Shivalaya to Ramakrishna temple followed by Arghya offering Aarti and Special Puja, bhajans by monks of Ramakrishna Order and Ramacharit Manas by Swami Sukhananda Ji.
Speeches will be delivered by Chief Justice Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh High Court Justice N Kotiswar Singh, Swami Bodhasarananda (Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Mission, Belur Math), Swami Nikhleshwarananda (Adhyaksha Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot) and Swami Sarvalokananda Ji (Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi).
Banedictory address will be given by Swami Gautamananda Ji Maharaj, president, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission and vote of thanks will be delivered by Swami Bhadreshananda Ji (Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Fiji).
Cultural programme will be held from 8 PM to 9 PM titled `A Leelagiti’-a musical rendition of Shri Ramakrishna’s Divyabhava by monks of the Ramakrishna Order.
On May 11, Srinagar Local Tirth Darshan have been scheduled which included Mangalarati & Japa Dhyan etc, Kheer Bhavani temple darshan, Sarika Devi temple darshan, Shankaracharya Hill & Dal lake visit and Sandhya Aarti & Bhajan at the temple followed by Prasad.
