JAMMU, Oct 2: Natrang’s International Theatre Talk Show today witnessed enriching narrative by eminent Theatre and Film Director, Ramanjit Kaur on Natrang’s Facebook Page.
Introducing Ramanjit Kaur, Natrang’s artist Sonalika Jamwal informed that Ramanjit was an international award-winning Theatre and Film Actor and Director from India, who was the founder director of ‘The Creative Arts’ established in 2002 and national vice-president of Arts Leadership Council, Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI).
“She has performed at festivals in India and abroad including UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Dubai, Pakistan, Australia, Uzbekistan, and Sri Lanka,” said Jamwal.
She has directed more than two dozen original plays for children and adults, which have been acclaimed nationally and internationally. She is also known for creating work in different Theatre genres such as ‘Site-Specific Theatre’, ‘theatre Science’ and ‘Theatre as Therapy or Theatre for Development’.
Speaking about her scintillating journey of theatre, Ramanjit gratefully considers herself fortunate that she got Padmashri Neelam Mansingh as guru. She recalled that ‘Kitchen Katha’ was a wholesome training experience which required the highest skills and sensibilities.
Director Natrang, Padmashri Balwant Thakur expressed his gratitude towards the celebrated personalities of Indian Theatre who are enlightening art lovers with their vision and intellect.
