JAMMU, July 22: Minister for Rural Development, Drinking Water and Sanitation Jairam Ramesh would tomorrow distribute about 700 to 800 placement letters to unemployed youths under ‘Himayat’ programme at Entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI), Pampore in Kashmir valley.
Mr Ramesh, who reached Srinagar today on two days visit, visited EDI Pampore where he was brief on training to youths of the State under ‘Himayat’ programme by EDI Director Dr Parray.
Mr Ramesh along with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his other Cabinet colleagues would distribute about 700 to 800 placement letters in private sector to the unemployed youths of the State, who had undergone training under ‘Himayat’ programme.
The placement letters would be distributed at the EDI Pampore.
The Union Minister would visit Ganderbal training centre, Kashmir University and Caf Foundation Centre tomorrow morning.
Mr Ramesh would have a meeting with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to discuss progress under Prime Minister’s Grameen Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) plan.
He would return to New Delhi tomorrow evening.
