RAJOURI, Sept 14: Rames-hwar Singh has been elected as president of Stone Crushers Union of Rajouri district.
In a general body meeting of Union held here today, about 35 members from Rajouri Nows-hera, Sunderbani, Kalakote, Budhal, Darhal, Kotranka, Manjakote and other areas of the district participated.
The members unanimously elected Rameshwar Singh as president of the Union for district Rajouri for the next term. It was also resolved in the meeting that office bearers of the Union will be elected shortly with the consensus of all and approval of the president.
During the meeting, the members also discussed the issues of the stone crusher owners and decided to take up the same through Union with the concerned authorities. The newly elected president assured the members to strongly project their issues before the appropriate authorities.
