SAMBA, Oct 1: Ramgarh police has arrested five gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 2100/- from their possession.
Acting on specific information about gambling a police party of Police Station, Ramgarh headed by SHO Inspector, Darshan Singh under the supervision of SDPO, Vijaypur, Lov Karan Singh raided the gambling spot at Rajwal, Ramgarh and arrested five gamblers along with stake money of Rs. 2100/- and playing cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Prem Lal, son of Janglu, Dev Nariyan, son of Resham Shahu, Ajay Kumar, son of Prem Lal, Ram Sourav, son of Nariyan Parshad, Sanjay son of Bodham. All are residents of Chattisgarh at present Rajwal Morh, Ramgarh.
Taking cognizance into the matter, all the gamblers were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act at P/S Ramgarh.
