SAMBA, Nov 1: Acting on an information of District Special Branch (DSB) Samba, a police party of Police Station Ramgarh headed by SI Bansi Lal, SHO Ramgarh under the direct supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur arrested one drug peddler namely Surjeet Kumar S/o Gurmail Dass R/o Koulpur and recovered 140 intoxicant capsules (Parvon Spas Plus and SPM Wockhardt) from his possession.
Besides arresting the culprit, the Police seized the contraband items. In this regard a case FIR No. 63/2017 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Ramgarh and investigation started. It may be recalled that drive against drug menace was launched by District Police Samba under the directions of Anil Magotra, SSP Samba.
