SAMBA, Dec 18: Ramgarh police has arrested one bootlegger and recovered 20 bottles of illicit liquor from him.
A police party of Police Station, Ramgarh headed by Inspector, Vikas Dogra, SHO, Ramgarh and under the close supervision S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO Vijaypur during routine patrolling at Village Bandral, Ramgarh, apprehended one bootlegger namely Nishan Singh, S/o Dalip Singh of Bandral, Ramgarh from his shop when he was selling illicit liquor among general public in the area and recovered 20 bottles of JK Desi whisky (180 ml each).
He was arrested on the spot and the illicit liquor was also seized. Taking cognizance into the matter, a case FIR No. 85/2018 U/S 48 (F) Excise Act stands registered at P/S Ramgarh and investigation taken up.
