SAMBA, Sept 29: As a part of continuous drive against the drug menace, a Police party of P/S Ramgarh headed by ASI Bashir Ahmed under the supervision of Inspector, Suraj Pathania, SHO P/S Ramgarh and overall supervision of Abhishiek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur today arrested two smugglers and recovered one kg of Ghanja from their possession.
According to police a patrolling Party of PS Ramgarh noticed the suspicious movement of two persons at village Ramloo, Ramgrh. On seeing, police party, they tried to escape from the spot but acting swiftly the police party apprehended them. After conducting physical search of both the persons, Ghanja weighing 1 Kg was recovered from their possession. The accused persons were identified as Bhola Shah S/O Gopi Shah and Bhulai Shah S/O Bhikari Shah both residents of Sehpur, Tehsil Saathi, district Motihari, Bihar. Both of them were arrested and the contraband item was seized on spot. A case FIR No.42/2016 U/S 8/15/20 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused persons at P/S Ramgarh and the investigation taken up.
