RAMNAGAR, Nov 27: People have developed a strong itch and inclination towards Congress as the only option and ‘vikalp’ (alternative).
This was stated by R S Pathania, general secretary, Pradesh Youth Congress, after conclusion of his five-days tour of Ramnagar assembly segment and addressing largely-attended meetings at far-off locations, Thougardwaran. Dehari, Kanala, Incha, Sulan, Prey, Badhal, Kela, Geeran, Blater, Kasumbri, Santhal, adding that winds of change have started blowing over the political horizon of Ramnagar.
The area of women empowerment, upliftment of weaker sections, professional education, creation of employment opportunities, promoting tourism, clean drinking water, uninterrupted and proper-voltage electricity, sanitation and cleanliness, basic education primary healthcare and animal care, public transport, poverty reduction, disaster management etc are the issues in which the area lags far behind.
