JAMMU, Mar 19: J&K-AGMUT cadre IPS officer Danesh Rana was today posted as IGP COBRA in CRPF.

COBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) is a special operation unit of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) proficient in guerrilla tactics and jungle warfare.
Rana is 1996 batch IPS officer of erstwhile J&K cadre and has also served as the IGP Jammu.
