CHANDIGARH: In a remarkable achievement, Punjab Sports and Youth Services and NRI Affairs Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi on Saturday added another feather in his cap with debut in the list named ‘The Sikh 100’.
The list comprises the names of most influential Sikhs of the world and their role in business, education, profession, media, entertainment, sports and charity.
This list also includes the name of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amrinder Singh, Union Minister Hardeep Puri, Canadian Minister Harjit Singh Sajjan and Ms Bardish Kaur Chagger and Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal.
Former International Shooter Rana Sodhi has not only gained the admiration in sports field but he also has penchant for Classical Music, Cooking and reading of History books. Congress MLA from Guru Har Sahai, Rana Sodhi was first elected legislator in 2002 and is the Direct Descendant of fouth Sikh Guru-Sri Guru Ram Das Ji.
Pertinently, ‘The Sikh 100’ is an annual ranking documenting profiles some of the most influential Sikhs from around the world and across all sectors including business, education, profession, media, entertainment, sports and charity. (AGENCIES)
