JAMMU, Sept 17: National Conference has constituted Provincial Election Board (PEB) to monitor party’s election process in Jammu province.
Member Legislative Council (MLC) and provincial president, National Conference Devender Singh Rana has been appointed as chairman of the Board.
Meanwhile, the members of the Board are Surjeet Singh Slathia, Rachpal Singh, Abdul Gani Malik, Aijaz Ahmad Jan, RS Sharma, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo and Bimla Luthra (MLAs), Sayed Mushtaq Bukhari, Qazi Jalal-ud-Din, Jagjeevan Lal, Abdul Wahid Shan, Mohammad Aslam Khan, Suram Singh, Chaman Lal and Govind Ram Sharma (Ex-MLAs), Ajat Shatru Singh, Khalid Najeed Suharwardy, Javeed Rana, Noor Hussian and Shehnaz Ganai (MLCs). Harbans Singh, Rattan Lal Gupta, Rampaul, Brij Mohan Sharma, Kashmira Singh, (Ex-MLCs), Mirza Abdul Rashid and Choudhary Talib Hussian, former-MPs, Maulvi Abdul Rashid and Ghulam Haider Malik, former Deputy Speakers, Choudhary Mohammad Shaffi, Jugal Mahajan, Abdul Karim Wani, Gurdeep Singh Sasan and Laxmi Dutta.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmad will be the member secretary of the Board.
