JAMMU, Dec 24: Senior BJP leader and MLA of Bahu constituency, Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, conducted a detailed inspection of the Channi Himmat Pond and the Water Filtration Plant at Bhalla Enclave in Ward No. 51. Devansh Yadav, Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), and other senior officials accompanied the MLA.
During the inspection, Randhawa underscored the critical need for maintaining and upgrading water infrastructure to meet the increasing demands of the population. He said, “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, our Government is dedicated to providing essential amenities to every citizen. Ensuring the proper functioning of water bodies and filtration systems is crucial for the health and well-being of our people. We are committed to implementing necessary improvements to enhance water quality and ensure sustainable management of these resources.”
JMC Commissioner, Devansh Yadav provided an overview of the current operations of the water filtration plant and shared plans for potential upgrades to boost its capacity and efficiency. He assured that the JMC is committed to resolving challenges and implementing the recommended enhancements in a timely manner.
The inspection also involved interactions with local residents, who gave suggestions about water supply and quality.
Randhawa assured them that their feedback is valuable and will be integrated into the planning and execution of future projects, reflecting the BJP’s ethos of inclusive governance and community engagement.
The senior BJP leader emphasized his unwavering commitment to the development of public amenities, highlighting the importance of efficient water management in urban areas. He stated, “As an elected representative, my priority is to improve the core infrastructure that directly impacts the lives of our citizens. Whether it is water supply, sanitation, or drainage systems, my focus remains on sustainable development that aligns with environmental goals while catering to the growing needs of our region.”
