JAMMU, Dec 22: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has done tremendous work to ensure that every section of the society gets its due share.
This was stated by former Legislator and senior BJP leader, Vikram Randhawa while listening to the grievance of the people living in Gadigarh area of Jammu South RS Pura Assembly Segment.
During his visit, Randhawa visualised the development works, which needs to be carried out in the aforesaid area.
He was accompanied by former Sarpanch and Mandal president ,Vijay Sharma, Balwinder Singh, Omkar Singh, Harjeet Singh, Joginder Singh Raju, Mohinder Singh, Ashok Sharma and others.
While speaking, the people apprised the visiting leader about the issues being faced by them including damaged street lights, deplorable condition of lanes, drains and by-lanes, etc. “It has become almost impossible for the women to walk in the lanes and the by-lanes due to damaged street lights”, the people said, adding that due to dilapidated condition of the lanes and by-lanes, they have suffered injuries due to accidents. Another issue, which the people raised is the rising population of the stray dogs.
While assuring the people, former Legislator said that all their issues will be raised with the concerned departments for early redressal.
Randhawa, while referring to the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi about Jammu and Kashmir said that while the economically marginallised segments of the society have been brought under Ayushman Bharat scheme as part of health for all across the country, it has been made applicable as Ayushman Sehat in the Union Territory with benefits of Rs 5 lakh medical cover to every family without any economic slab.
People applauded Randhawa for visiting their area and listening to their issues.
“No one bothered about the issues being faced by us and you (Randhawa) was the first leader, who gave patient hearing to our issues”, the people added.
“Gigantic Vaccination programme, fight against COVID, digital revolution, cashless transactions, etc are among umpteen other schemes and policies which the last eight years of BJP regime have realized and helped India to become one of the developed countries across the world”, Randhawa said.
