Randhawa inaugurates nallah bed

JAMMU, Dec 6: Former Member Legislative Council (MLC) Vikram Randhawa today inaugurated newly constructed nallah bed at village Jalalabad in Malik Market Panchayat of Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency.
While speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that it was long pending demand of the people of the area as they were facing many hardships during rainy season. He said that during rainy season the road connecting village used to wash away following floods in the said nallah and people were facing problems in reaching their homes.
Randhawa said that the issue was brought into his notice and an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh was released out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) during his tenure as MLC. He further said that the BJP is committed to carry forward the developmental agenda with the slogan ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Vikas’.
He said that with the construction of this Nallah bed in Jalalabad of Malik Market Panchayat the people would now be able to use this road comfortable even during rainy season. He further assured people that all their other demands too would be taken up with the concerned authorities for early redressal.
Others present on the occasion include Shamsher Singh Naib Sarpanch, Tarun Sharma, Latief Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed, Mohammad Rafiq, Amit Gupta, Anil Choudhary, Bashir Khatana and Vikas Patyal.
